In collaboration with professors from the Duke Human Rights Center at the Franklin Humanities Institute, I led design and production for 20+ web and print ready curriculum materials focused on North Carolina Human Rights History including graphic organizers, guided readings, and lessons plans for 6-12 teachers. After project completion, we planned, facilitated, and recruited 40+ teachers from across 3 school districts for 3 professional development sessions, “Righting Wrongs: North Carolina’s Changemakers in Your Curriculum,” using these materials to demonstrate and encourage study of human rights and local history in middle and high school classrooms
