I am an educator, friend, daughter, sister, partner, and lifelong learner from Durham, North Carolina. My work has taken me to Philadelphia, the mountains of New York, Colorado and West Virginia, and Colombia. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Social, Emotional, Behavioral Health and Inclusive Education at the University of Vermont.

I consider it my life’s work and purpose to ensure every child receives a quality education that connects them to the Earth, their community, and each other.
